It’s the timeless debate that every growing family struggles with…
I’m thinking something like this (not red though, people):
While Page is still hanging on to something like this (not necessarily a Yukon, but you get the picture…also, for fun, imagine this SUV fading into other lanes, the rumble strips, double-parking, etc…sorry, Page):
We need thoughts, advice…help!*
*Page informs me that we could very well have 15-20 more kids after Cal, if that helps in the decision making process.

Guys, cmon. You can get 8 seater SUVs these days. And have you seen how much snow NC has been getting lately?!?! Also, you aren’t even considering a big van like Page drove in Ft. Lauderdale?
We got a Toyota Sienna (no, no recalls on it yet) and LOVE IT. Love to be able to walk around btw seats, remove back bench, and OMG the sliding doors on both sides are the biggest lifesaver ever. Seriously, I dont know how we lived without it. Greg always said he’d never own a mini-van, but he is hooked for life now. Seriously.
Mini-van all the way!!!!!!
How many times do I have to tell you? When you have kids this close together there’s no question. She can get the SUV when the kids are older. If you have an INFANT and a TODDLER by yourself at a grocery store and your walking to your car, you’ll thank God every time you hit your keyless remote and the doors slide open. Trust me. Not to mention the 16 mpg an SUV gets and the lack of cargo space you’ll have once you have 3 kids
Minivan all the way baby!!!! You will not be sorry! We will be cool again someday…. We have a Chrysler Town and Country. The Honda Odysseys are awesome too. Seriously, they are great to have with little kids.
My sister has a minivan and loves it. My nephew rides in style and it has definitely come in handy when we take family vacations. PJ and I had this conversation when whe bought my car. We don’t know how BIG our family will get. If you are thinking more kids then you may think minivan.
Paige– Don’t do it. Get a crossover or something. Fight the minivan with all you’ve got.
I am with you all the way!
